Movie: Hancock

At first, Hancock was a super strong drunk who helped people but the way he did it created more damage than good. The citizens were getting angry at him. Until a Ray, a PR executive who wanted to change the world into a better place by his humanitarian project was saved by Hancock.

He offered his help to Hancock so that the latter would turn to be the superhero people would admire. Little by little, Hancock was changing for the better. However, little did Ray know that his wife, Mary, was the wife of Hancock in the previous decades/centuries. The two had been husband and wife more than 3,000 years. They Later in the film, it was revealed that whenever Hancock and Mary together, they became mortal and could be hurt.

In the end, when the Mary was dying due to the shootout by the escaped convicts who also wounded, Hancock decided to fly far. During such event, Mary returned to life after her heartbeat flattened out. They decided that it’s better off to live separate lives.
