Panic Attack?
Have you ever had a panic attack? What was it like? What was going on in your mind when it happened? What did you do? I felt something like it the other day but I wasn’t really sure if it was it.
I was walking the other day in Bangkok (Silom-Surawong area) under the mighty heat of the sun, when suddenly I felt something like a “panic attack”. I was not afraid or anything like that, it was just some kind of feeling which I could not control. You see, I have been walking for quite a distance looking for an address and, because I have not been in the area for a loooong time, I sort of underestimated the distance from the Chong Nonsi BTS station to the Mahesak-Surawong road.
‘Ber Months?! Can We Really Do That?
At last, we have finished our presentation to the renowned ManCom (Management Commitee) last night. After almost having a heart attack due to the nervousness that me and my colleague were feeling because the first scheduled meeting was actually postponed – it was actually the fault of the BigBoss since he missed his flight. Nonetheless, the prolonged agony, I think, was worth it.
We got ready a good 30 minutes before we were scheduled to talk in front of the ManCom. But instead of just waiting, RB and I decided to have dinner first before killing ourselves with monstrous heartbeats. A few more bites before the last bit of meat from our pizza disappears, Ms Pots [not her real name] called us up and instructed us to go immediately to the conference room.

July 2008 Marine O.I.C. Board Exam Results 001 – 500
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,126 out of 4,204 examinees passed the written phase of the Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination for the various ranks given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila on July 12 and 13, 2008. One (1) examinee in the July 2002 Practical Phase now completed the written and practical examinations. And a total of 577 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

Paeng Nepomuceno Earns Third Guinness Record
MANILA, Philippines—Paeng Nepomuceno made it to the Guinness World Records for the third time after clinching his 118th career championship late last year, making him the holder of the most number of tenpin bowling titles.
The six-time world champion topped Melbourne’s South Pacific Classic on Sept. 18, 2007, beating World Tenpin Masters champion Jason Belmonte for his 118th crown.
“This is a great honor and I’d like to share it with all my countrymen,” said Nepomuceno. “Whenever I compete, my countrymen always give me great support which inspires me to always do my best.”
