Apple-iPod Shuffle and Canon digital camera
Having been influenced by friends and work mates in their advocacy to photography and music, I am forced to buy my own digital camera (Canon IXUS 860IS) though I used my K810i cameraphone to take photos for my blogs. This Canon IXUS 860IS is known in North America as PowerShot SD870 IS Digital Elph. It’s an 8 Megapixel compact with a 3.8x optically-stabilised zoom lens and a large 3in screen. I might now be serious into photography. I’m a month-old food blogger and I definitely need a digicam! I was also amazed with the ZoomBrowser EX software as one of its Canon Utilities where I can customize my photos. Love it! Pls. click here for the cam’s specs.

AVG not updating, .bin file missing?
This morning, as I open my computer, I noticed that the AVG icon on the right lower part of the screen turned black, and has the red exclamation point at it. That means that there is something wrong with AVG. I immediately checked what’s wrong with my AVG and I saw that the update manager is having the ‘x’ mark.

Being responsible bloggers, in as much as possible, we choose to only publish works that are truly our own. We try to be conscious about copyright and practice necessary attribution whenever we publish materials painstakingly made/created by another IF at all we use works done by other people. A text inquiry from a fellow blogger made me plurk about the concern she brought up regarding the not-so-free use of FreeplayMusic mp3s in vlogs. Surprised, I decided to find the truth out myself by sending an email to FreeplayMusic directly (disclosing who I am and my URL in the process).

Philippine Juicy Fruits
Fresh from his stint in Harvard, United States, where he was granted scholarship in Publc Finance Administration, Usec. Robert T. Rivera went straight to the set of his show: Pilipinas Ngayon Na! Barely days after he arrived in the country, Usec. Rivera hosted the launching of the Philippine Juicy Fruits of Bella Dimayuga. Bella Dimayuga, the very nationalistic President of Bellestar Promotions who conceptualized the idea that her talents be named after Philippine Fruits to promote our country abroad, with his husband Ed, took charge of the affair. The event was splendid! The crowds were so energetic! The voice of “Marvic” a.k.a. “Makopa”, as she dances with the Bellstar Dancers, was so powerful! Usec. Rivera at the set, was amazed. We taped the event from our own cameras we brought in with us and uploaded Marvic’s performance. It was really splendid! Amazing! Amusing! Watch it for yourself to witness:
