I don’t know about you, but since I’ve started establishing my online identity, I’ve dedicated half of my life to hiding what I do from my boss and co-workers. Considering that, why would I let them know how idle I am at work (very), where I spend a good chunk of my office hours (in Facebook), and what I do (updating my about me to “Life is an allusion to my dick, it’s hard and has its occasional ups and downs. Also, HUGE!”). Moreover, those incriminating photos from the party the other weekend might be hilarious to your best friends, but will your boss feel the same?

I Cannot Hate Carbon Dioxide
Carbon dioxide is the basic requirement of plant’s photosynthesis and bears fruit. Without it vegetarians and other living things will have no food to eat and will perish on earth. If you mitigate the emission of carbon dioxide you also lessen the presence of oxygen, the life-giving element of mankind. Making carbon dioxide as the culprit in man-made global warming is a faulty supposition. The presence of carbon in our earth is only minimal compared to oxygen, silicon, and other chemical elements. We cannot get other supply from outer space. These are only available and provided in our earth for the sustenance of life. See more @

See, I have this diabolical plan to develop something called The Insanely Intense Death Ray of Pain that I shall install on the moon’s surface. I want to know how much resistance I can expect from you guys. Don’t get any ideas, though. You can only slow me down. Pursuit of Happiness
Bhutan has this concept of GNH or Gross National Happiness. It stands in contrast to GNP or Gross National Product in the sense that GNP represents humanity’s drive for materialism while GNH goes well beyond that. Beyond tangible riches, GNH is the measure of a country’s “common welfare and infused with a good dose of spirituality,” as Katherine Marshall puts it. The King of Bhutan, His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck, conceived GNH out of Buddhist principles, one of which is the “notion that the ultimate purpose of life is inner happiness.” Which is not suprising, Bhutan being a predominantly Buddhist country.
Bangkok’s transport system
The sky train and subway systems in Bangkok are recent additions to ease traffic congestion in the city. It helps some, I suppose. But the routes are limited to just within the city. It would be nice to have it extended towards major highways near the residential areas. Manila was way ahead with our LRT and MRT in the 80s. And more people are using the system there in Manila, it is indeed a real public transport. Here in Bangkok it is still quite limited to those who can afford.
