Para sa Pinoy Konsyumer
The blogosphere welcomes yet again another empowering venue for the masang Pinoy!
Bilang consumers, we Filipinos, often than not, don’t have much choice in the kind of service we are being rendered, except to take it all with a grain of salt. Madalas, we just bear it and smile, pero with a heavy heart and deep inside, we can’t help but wish na sana magkaroon naman ng ngipin ang batas na nagbibigay proteksyon sa mga consumers, kung meron man.
As ordinary Pinoy telecommuters and bloggers, we have experienced mistreatments from several service providers over the years and always had to face a blank wall in case we opt to file complaints. Providers of internet service, telephone, postal, banking among others seem to have a tight grip on the consumers’ necks. Sad to say, poor quality of service is rampant sa kahit anong establishment, agency o company sa ating bansa and there is really nothing we can do about it.
That is why we welcome BalutPress.Com, a new website that aims to empower the Pinoy consumer by offering its webpages as a collective venue for consumers to air out their grievances against these erring service providers. If we contribute by submitting stories, videos or pictures of our complaints, we will be helping the many other consumers out there by warning them against these entities.
File your complaints na!
