How does one embrace the possibility of becoming childless for good?
Warren and I decided to stop from undergoing fertility treatments. For now it seems that he plans to stop temporarily but he could also be considering stopping it altogether, for good. I can only stand by the sidelines and let my husband lead me into the future. I am too exhausted emotionally and even physically to still think and make future plans of action. Anyway, we both agreed that this may not be the time to pursue medical intervention.
We agreed that our faith teaches us to rely on God and trust in His mercy and grace, that no matter how much we could spend and if ever we decided to spend for treatments, we will not conceive if God would not allow it. In the same manner, we will conceive even if we do not undergo fertility work ups if God wants to give us a child. Either way, there really isn’t anything man, medicine, science and technology can do unless God wills it.

Because I’m not into writing anniversary statements these days unlike before, I leave this repost of an entry from my former blog to commemorate the imposition of martial law 36 years ago:
Orapronobis as directed by Lino Brocka, is a film that tackles the awful human rights situation in the country during the Aquino administration.
While the portrayal of the Philippine condition won it critical acclaim abroad, the film never got shown in public theaters in the country at all.
An article (some parts have been left off for the purpose of brevity) from the circa 1980 alternative magazine MIDWEEK explains why:

Actually i think this app is really meant for more casual users. I’m sure the maniacs and geeks want full featured software. Update – after testing out the photo displaying, i take back what i said, i think this app is great for professional photographers who want to show off a portfolio and dont want people ripping off your pictures. As a reference check out how my gallery is displayed (I disabled downloads, but there is a feature to enable it)
