Pictures From My Philippines Embassy Visit
These pictures were taken when I visited the Philippines Embassy last month. I was walking all the way to the embassy to McDonald’s in Lucky Plaza during lunch time. My favorite is the statue from the Hilton Hotel.
Filipina Domestic Helper in Singapore Gone Crazy
This is fresh news in Singapore
and I got this on first hand. I was on my way home from Orchard when I noticed a group of people formed near the exit of Orchard MRT. I went to check on what’s happening. There’s this Filipina domestic helper seated on the floor and eavesdropper including the MRT security police surrounds her.

The Fabulous La Marea
There is something in La Marea (I.T. Park or Crossroads) that those with a sweet tooth will love – the Brownie Cup! La Marea’s Brownie Cup is a highly recommended dessert. There is something about the combination of the hot brownie and ice cream that is addictive. It’s probably called sugar and chocolate but let’s just call it Special Ingredient X.
Caffeinated drinks at La Marea are okay and reasonably priced but nothing to jump up and down for.
La Marea is a great place to hang out with friends and family. Great interiors too! Check out the Pakalistas’ post on La Marea at their food blog.

1. Womanizer – Britney Spears
From last month’s number 6, Britney Spears latest single “Womanizer” ascends as the Top 1 hit song for the month of November. After a lot of comebacks she made and without too much public appearances made by the British singer, this single from her latest album Circus was still able to catch public’s attention. This “comeback” song has all the beats every party-goer wants, that’s why no doubt it immediately peaked at number 6 on Billboard’s Top 100 Singles this week, and number on the Top 10 Hit songs – November Issue.
2. Keeps Gettin’ Better – Christina Aguilera
This might sound crazy having this month’s number 1 song’s artist’s rival on the same list! Britney Spears pop scene rival Christina Aguilera is also currently rocking the airwaves with her latest hit song Keeps Gettin’ Better. While I was listening to this song, I instantly recalled an almost the same intro beat with Britney Spears’ Radar. You have to listen to both, but that’s another story. Anyways, Keeps Gettin Better is a must-hear song!
“Twilight” didn’t impress me — my review
Just awhile ago me and my hubby just finished watching “Twilight” at SM City Cebu. Well, frankly speaking the movie didn’t impress me — I was expecting the middle earth war 
, on the other hand, the crowd really interest me — It was like watching together with a few hundreds of teens and kids.

I urge everyone especially those new voters like me to heed my call and register to vote for the upcoming 2010 elections. After all, we need to have a say on how our government should work and who should lead it.
