Citigroup to hire 1,000 workers in Philippines?!

What the hell?! Another dead-end contracted job to appease the victims who are looking for easy money and degrade their talents. I don’t really know why I shouldn’t be happy, but this is a good example of why my mom finds it fetching to get out of the country.

This is just odd for me, the unemployed (who are leeching unemployment benefits) are multiplying in numbers here and they ship jobs overseas! To top it all, they’re begging for a bailout from congress (which they agreed. –NYTimes).

Don’t take me wrong. I have no prejudice upon my own race and fellow nationals, but this is so freaking wrong and I think this is (obviously) another cost cutting attempt.
1USD = 50PhP

I think it’s sad.(more Citigroup to hire 1,000 workers in Philippines?!)

My own special bailout.

While Detroit’s ‘Beg 3′ is having a hard time asking congress for a bailout, I just realized that if I don’t put something in my free checking account my balance will be $-50+.

I have 2 transaction that will cause the deficit and will have a fine of $24 dollars for EACH transaction.

To top it all off, I have a bill that is due today for about $50.

I explored my options. I have a Bonus Rates account wherein I have an APY of 1.00% and it’s about $300. If I even withdraw a cent from that, I’ll have to pay a service fee of 5$ and the APY will be like a normal savings because my balance was not 500.

According to my phone company, I have a grace period of 5 days, after which a 5$ fine. On a different occasion, someone told me that I have a grace period of 10 days and a late fee of 1.54% of this month’s due amount which will be added to next month. I was confused, but I think that the earlier is much better and much solid argument because the operator quoted a document issued by the company, he added that the late fee is based from my standing in the company. Such equity. (more My own special bailout.)

Andok's Cebu Beef Tapa

The Pakalistas were out late one Sunday night and had a difficult time finding a Cebu restaurant in Mactan Island. Luckily Andok’s, beside the Gaisano Mactan Island Mall, was open to satisfy the very famished Pakalistas.

Five very voracious young souls out to experience Andok’s equals one interesting conversation and more.
