Gelato, or the plural Gelati, is Italian ice cream made from a liquid, milk or water; a solid, sugar, fats or sweeteners; flavorings, pastes, fruit powders; stabilizers, guar gum, locust bean, etc.; emulsifiers, mono- and digylcerides; and air.

Today’s another day of my rest day and boy, am I glad that I got to take the weekend off. I was able to spend some time with my fam and I was able to go out and just relax without having to worry about anything else. For today, we hung out at several different spots, but I’m gonna talk more about the new ice cream place at the SM City Cebu. Ooops, I forgot, it’s gelato, not ice cream.

did you know? 40 years ago, dec.9.1968, Douglas Engelbart with 17 other guys @ Stanford University’s Stanford Research Institute (SRI), spent 90 minutes at the Fall Joint Computer Conference and publicly introduced/demonstrated (for the first time) the computer mouse, hypertext, video conferencing, email, video conferencing, word processing, and cut-and-paste.

i don’t know about this but thought this was intriguing and also convincing @ the same time. according to JDJ a survey conducted by Evans Data Corp. shows that javascript is the preferred computer language in europe, middle east and africa (emea).

I can still recall the usual advice of our oldies not to drink water when we’re eating because we’ll get a full stomach easily. And one can’t find any drinking water on the dinner table unless everyone has finished eating.
Children that grew up to that kind of situation consciously mistaken hunger from thirst. We often reach for food when water will/can supplement our tummy’s urge that moment. Results? We gain weight!
