5 Points Why I Consider Some Friendster Users as Stupid

This article isn’t posted to negate users of Friendster in general. In the first place, I’m a Friendster user myself. But I have my reasons why I’ll be posting this one because recent activities or promotions happening in Friendster is irritating me. I admit that one of the reasons why posting such is that, people who are guilty to my points, will at least, assess how they’ve been using Friendster as a social platform.

I understand that Friendster was created as a SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE. Here’s an excerpt from Friendster’s About Us Page.

Friendster is focused on helping people stay in touch with friends and discover new people and things that are important to them.

I’ll try as much as possible not to forget why Friendster was born in our internet and not DIRECTLY attack the people guilty to the following points.

1. Mobile Phone Numbers Promotion – Looking for textmates is ok. But posting it blatantly on Friendster Bulletins and on your shout-out is DEFINITELY not the right place!

2. YM Accounts Promotion – Have you ever encountered bulletins with the following titles:

InvYt niyo pow aqu sa YM, eto po add ko —–

Quote above is an actual bulletin from an FS user. I want to tell these people, don’t you have enough FRIENDS!? If the answer is no, then I pity you. Forgive me, but I really find these people as sooooo pathetic. Please, stop posting on things like these on the Bulletin.

3. Posting images of WHO’s VIEWED ME – It’s not that I’m jealous of their 4 figure-profile views a month. That would be very silly of me. My views are approximate….
