Too Cold To Be Warm
San Pedro, Laguna, is now 25 deg. C colder than any month of December in my two decades stay in this suburban town closest to Metro Manila. And this is the only December –considered as dry season- in my memory when the rain fell on Christmas Day. Recorded lower temperature is regularly registered during the month of February in this tropical and maritime region of the Philippines. i just read this from tech.blorge, it seems that the redmont software company – Microsoft too is just as volatile as the others.
there is a “substantial” rumor that the company may be laying off as many as 15,000 employees worldwide (this is around 17% of their workforce)…

The fitting room
I hate fitting rooms. At least those that our local malls, stores, and department stores have. Some clothing stores here even have the nerve to actually NOT have one. Imagine having to try out a dress behind some flimsy curtain, sharing space with ceiling high stacks of the store’s inventory. It would likely be a miracle that you get a full length mirror in these places.
