I noticed even as a young child that some of the largest crowds in the year will show up to receive ashes on Ash Wednesday, even if it is not a holy day of obligation. Many Filipinos could not afford to let go of Ash Wednesday without a trip to church to be marked with an ashen cross on their foreheads....

just updated my jobstreet account today (okay it wouldn’t hurt if i update my profile right? 
) and took part of a survey – “JobStreet Employee Confidence Index.”
the survey hopes to measure the PINOYs confidence in the current job market. and i bet this result will make our graduating students glad as in spite of the glooming worldwide economy, 28% of PINOYs considered things still “good!”

The Twilight Saga Eclipse: Coming On June 30, 2010
Third film in ‘Twilight‘ series gets release date.
Just a day after “Twilight” fans got a look at the artwork for “New Moon,” they’re getting another treat: On June 30, 2010, “Eclipse” is coming.
“Yes, it’s true,” a source at Summit Entertainment confirmed to MTV News Friday evening (February 20). ” ‘The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse’ is dated for Wednesday, June 30, 2010.”

youtube launches collaborative annotations
youtube a few weeks ago introduced the annotation feature for it’s video user accounts. what it does is that it allows you to add “speech bubbles” or annotations to your videos.
today, a new feature has been added so that you can invite others to post their annotations to your very own videos.
