Known as Aristotle &quot;Aries&quot; Pollisco, Gloc 9 is one of the award-winning fastest Filipino rappers. Most of his rap songs have a theme about politics, practical life, love, and others. Because 2010 is the election year in the Philippines, his song in collaboration with Zelle entitled &quot;Upuan&quot; because a big hit with its political theme. 

3. Sarah Geronimo- &quot;You Changed My Life&quot; 

&quot;You Changed My Life&quot; is the sequel of the movie &quot;A Very Special Love&quot; starring Sarah Geronimo and John Loyd Cruz. &quot;A Very Special Love&quot; was known to be the song of the year in most radio stations in the Philippines aside from being a block-buster hit. In this year, Sarah still made in in the chart at number 3 with &quot;You Changed My Life.&quot; 

4. Pussycat Dolls- &quot;Jai Ho&quot; 

One of the most popular female groups that became popular in 2009 was the Pussycat Dolls. Among their biggest hits are &quot;Stick Witu,&quot; &quot;I Hate This Part,&quot; and &quot;Jai Ho,&quot; which was used as the soundtrack of the movie &quot;Slumdog Millionare&quot; starring Freida Pinto and Dev Patel. In this song, Pussycat Dolls had a collaboration with A.R. Rhaman, an award-winning musician. &quot;Jai Ho&quot; literally means &quot;You&#039;re My Destiny.&quot; 

5. Rico Blaco- &quot;Antukin&quot; 

Formerly known as the lead vocalist of Rivermaya, here comes the matinee music idol, Rico Blanco, with his big hit entitled &quot;Antukin.&quot; The song has a fast upbeat rhythym with a catchy tune. &quot;Antukin&quot; is about a sleepy girl who is left behind at an airport. Fortunately, a man finds her and promises that he will love the girl if she only believes and follows him. This song is full of love and inspiration. 

6. Bugoy Drilon- &quot;Kung Pwede Lang Sana&quot; 

It seems that the success of Pinoy Dream Academy winner, Bugoy Drilon, is unstoppable. After his big hit &quot;Paano na Kaya,&quot; which was also used as a movie title by Gerald Anderson and Kim Chui, and his version of &quot;Muli,&quot; he comes with another smash hit, &quot;Kung Pwede Lang Sana.&quot; &quot;Kung Pwede Lang Sana&quot; is a love song about a guy who wishes to be in loved by the girl whom he really loves before it is too late.

Do not be confused with the title. &quot;Love Story&quot; by Taylor Swift is different from &quot;Love Story&quot; by Andy Williams. Both songs are great and famous. However, the new one has a faster and modern rhythym. From her #1 debut album entitled &quot;Fearless,&quot; Taylor Swift gave life the novel &quot;Romeo and Juliet.&quot; 

8. David Cook- &quot;Come Back to Me&quot; 

After his successful acoustic rendition of Mariah Carey&#039;s &quot;Always Be My Baby,&quot; this American idol inspired us with his signature song entitled &quot;Come Back to Me.&quot; &quot;Come Back to Me&quot; is a song about a lover who whas been left alone by his sweetheart. In this song, David Cooks hopes that his loved one will come back after knowing herself.
