Missing the Relationship Comfort Zone

Sometimes I cringe whenever friends would talk to me about how boring their relationships with their SOs have become and how much they’ve been craving for some “spice”.  In my previous relationships, I don’t remember having felt that way.  It’s always been that I’m so comfortable in the relationship and then suddenly something happens that necessitates breaking up with the other person or that the relationship comes to its natural death.  But never did I really complain that I got “bored” with it.

For the last 2 years, I’ve been single and so far it’s the longest time that I’ve stayed single (except of course, the time before I had my first relationship).  And right now, I’m feeling that little vacant space inside me that was previously occupied by a warm feeling of being in a relationship.  I miss the relationship comfort zone actually.
