Fantasy Premier League: Stephen Ireland’s return to action fails to check Man City’s woes

Stephen Ireland is back with Manchester City after missing two games in the BPL but the troubles of Mark Hughes’ squad remain. After losing in away fixtures to Arsenal in the League and Hamburg in the UEFA Cup, City’s hopes of finishing strong  depends on their home form, which has remained solid, until last Sunday.

Man City surely did fantasy managers who picked Clint Dempsey a huge favor by making him a top scorer for Gameweek 32. Ireland, who was even tagged as a doubtful starter by many sources prior to the Fulham game, scored the lone goal for City in their eventual 3-1 defeat and managed to pick up seven fantasy points. <Read more>
