Stollar Suwalki – doors and windows

Our strategy involves the investing in the development of the plant with the view to product quality and customer satisfaction. Owing to continuous projects and improvements on the technology, the quality of our products increases. At the same time, we may afford to broaden our offer of products. Our input product – PVC window and door joinery – was augmented by windows and doors from aluminium and timber windows. We also placed a bet on the professionalism of our employees. The years of experience with the PVC window and door joinery allowed us to complete the staff professionally manufacturing, installing and selling our windows and doors.

Windows and doors of Stollar are manufactured from the best species of Pine, Oak and exotic mahogany wood – meranti. The technology of provides production from timber forces the very careful preparation of the material – the timber must be well dried up. The total automation of this phase is the guarantee for its proper conduct. Bonding profiles from lamellas rather than, as in the past, completing them from solid timber, definitely eliminates the problem of their later warping. A three-layer plywood with parallel arrangement of lamellas holds much better technical parameters from the solid timber with the same cross-section. The square timber is subjected to further technical processing: dressing, capping, profile shaping, as a result of which the timber assumes the shape of the active window profile. The profile from timber must be resistant to the operation of variable atmospheric conditions – humidity or wind pressure, and this is why its durability is the key factor. It is integrated by means of the pressure method. The durability is obtained owing to the finish coats from varnish: grounding layer, primer and finish layer. To meet the expectations of the market in 2008, Stollar installed the most modern line in Europe, manufactured by VERTEK, dedicated for varnishing and drying window elements.

The technology of stamping profiles from hard PVC has been under constant development for 30 years. Polyvinyl chloride, as this is its chemical name, is very durable, aging resistant material, owing to which the windows made from it continue to function reliably for several dozen years, their usable features being preserved within this time. This is the material mechanically resistant and also resistant to climatic factors, such as: rain, frost, window, UV radiation and temperature changes. It displays thermal insulation properties and also provides for the optimum acoustic insulation. With time, the windows will not change their shape and colour and are easy to keep clean. In 2007, Stollar purchased the state of the art and fully automated production line for manufacturing the highest-quality PVC window and door joinery.

We have been specializing for a number of years in the production of windows and doors from PVC, aluminium and timber. Our goal is to deliver the products meeting the strangest qualitative standards, and individual expectations of each of our Customers. Home is the most important place in the life of any human and this is why we make all our endeavours for the quality of our windows to meet the requirements of even the most discerning customers. We would like your home to gain, owing to Stollar windows, the unsurpassed glitter and charm, and to be full of heat and elegance.

Spyro Cord Organizer

Don’t you just hate clutter? I know I do. This is not surprising really considering how obsessive compulsive I am. I especially hate it when I get tangled up in wires and cables of all the gadgets I carry around with me. In fact, I have had to replace my mouse and earphones just because I pulled too hard on them when I tried to get them from my bag.

I have a ton of nylon cable ties that I have to cut most of the time anyway, velcro cable ties that are more expensive and get worn out eventually and I have the good old trusty rubber band. But even with that, the cables are still exposed and prone to getting tangled up with one another.

Teddy Locsin’s Eulogy for Cory

I came across the above article published by one of my favorite writers, Jessica Zafra, on her blog Jessica Rules the Universe.

I must confess that I was an active witness to the People Power Revolution that happened in 1986. Our school was located right smack in the middle of Edsa where all the chaos unfolded so I cannot help but be swept in the series of events that led to getting Cory Aquino elected to the presidency.
