Men and umbrellas
What is it with men and umbrellas? I know very few men who would allow themselves to be seen carrying or toting an umbrella, regardless of how masculine it may look. It is funnier to watch some grown men try to run across the street probably hoping he will only slightly get wet since he is so fast. Or the man who has to sacrifice a very important meeting that he can’t get to as he is seeking refuge under a makeshift roof, an awning, waiting until the rain stops. Or the man who walks briskly trying to appear casual but truthfully is being soaked by the drops of rain falling down on his head. My own husband doesn’t care to be seen under an umbrella even if I happen to be holding it. Men!
