The 2009 Nobel Prize winners for Medicine were announced earlier this week. Today the 2009 Nobel Prize for Chemistry was released in Stockholm. Two US citizens Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, Thomas A Steitz and an Israeli Ada E Yonath shared the Noble Prize in Chemistry. The Nobel Prize was awarded for their studies of the “structure and function of the ribosome”.Three scientists also won the 2009
