Time to start posting again
After a seriously long time of inactivity in Ambot-ah, I’m back posting about my travels over the months. While I take some time to jot down my journals, you can view some my photos at my flickr account. Here’s a photo of me during my most recent visit (and very first trip abroad) to Hong Kong:

Me studying and other random stuff
After Typhoon Ondoy hit the Philippines, this is only my second post across all my blogs. I’m now conflicted with final exams, requirements and other responsibilities.
The photo above is me, studying for my Math 54 final exams barely 3 hours from now. Good luck to me.
After all my final exams, we’ll be bracing ourselves for our last days of training for the ACM-ICPC Asia Regionals 2009 which is on the 22nd and 23rd of October. Woot!
After October 23, I’m more or less free-er than...

It has been a while since I last shared some link love here at JMMO. So, I thought now might a good time to do so! Here are some things that I found online recently that you might find interesting too —

Inside the Escudero Mansion
While my companions from the Vibal Foundation were busy preparing their lighting and photographic equipments to shoot the Escudero Museum, I took the chance to tour the Escudero Mansion which was located just beside the museum. I thought that the mansion may contain more choice antiques than the museum as this is privately owned by the Escudero family and not open for tourists. The Escudero Ancestral Mansion was a magnificent house in the combined Art Deco and Art Nouveau style of architecture that...

The Pride of GenSan (2 of 3)
I ended the last post with the journey to my memories of General Santos. The beautiful coastline that is Saranggani Bay reminds me of the LA coastline. (FACT: It was built by the US to mimic indeed the LA coastline) For a place stricken with so much conflict and strife, where war and holy battles be it justified or not is present, General Santos is beautiful place. Just in time, the 4 main courses were served.
Sinigang na Tuna or Soured Tuna Fish Soup. This dish was great. It reminded me a lot...

Enjoying the ride
On tour again with the APO as I write this. It’s a pretty short tour actually, just 5 shows all in a month. We have done Toronto, and this weekend it will be in Houston and Dallas. Next week, we finish everything with shows in Hayward near San Francisco, and Moronggo near LA. All shows happen on weekends for economic reasons. People are free and therefore can attend shows if they like the performers. I can’t recall how many times APO has gone on tour in our 40 years of performing. Our...
