‘Simpsons’ Letting Fans Design New Character For Show

"Fox is launching a contest where for the first time ever fans can design a new "Simpsons" character that will appear on the show. Between now and Oct. 24, fans can submit their character’s traits -- including name/nickname, age, appearance, occupation and catchphrases -- to the thesimpsons.com."[via the live feed] ...
