Louisiana judge defends denied interracial marriage (video)
Keith Bardwell, an elected judge in eastern Louisiana, caused a national controversy when he denied a marriage license to an interracial couple. But Bardwell still believes he did the right thing and maintains he is not racist.
The 56-year-old justice of the peace refused to issue a permit to Terence McKay, who is African-American, and his white bride-to-be, Beth Humphrey, in early October. The couple was later married by another judge.

Ascott Makati (formerly Oakwood Premier) is an oasis in the urban jungle that is the Makati CBD (Central Business District). What makes it ideal is that it is just beside the Glorietta 4 mall. Dozens of planets found outside solar system
Thirty-two new planets have just been discovered, some five times the mass of Earth and others far bigger than Jupiter. But don’t bother going outside, it’s not like you’re going to see them or anything. These alien orbs are outside of our solar system.

This distinctive pottery style—the rough, speckled, natural body with the smooth, color-glazed lip—is the work of master potter Lanelle Abueva Fernando who has her studio and a garden café in Antipolo City in the province of Rizal.
