Many dead as two trains collide in Egypt

At least 25 people have been killed and more than 50 injured in a crash between two passenger trains on the outskirts of the Cairo, the Egyptian capital. The vehicles were traveling on the same track, and were both headed in the same direction, according to television reports. The trains collided on Saturday at Al-Ayyat in Giza, about 70 km (40 miles) south of Cairo.
