Magdalo goes for Chiz Escudero: An Analysis

After thorough consultation, the Samahang Magdalo led by its Secretary General Ashley Ascedillo (who will also vie for an elective post come 2010) chose Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) presidential bet Francis “Chiz” Escudero. According to Acedillo, Escudero got 150 plus votes from their group, followed by Noynoy Aquino, Estrada and Villar. Magdalo co-founder Senator Antonio Trillianes IV said Escudero qualifies as the best best due to his character, vision and leadership.
