Nokia OVI Tweet – Cyrano de Bergerac

Here's my own OVI tweet, my personal show of gratitude to Nokia for being a sponsor of PEBA.There is a real Cyrano de Bergerac (1619 - 1655), a French dramatist and soldier. Full name: Hector Savinien de Cyrano de Bergerac. And there is the play Cyrano de Bergerac (1897) by Edmond Rostand.Cyrano, the play, bears no semblance to the life of Cyrano, the person.Cyrano de Bergerac is a wonderfully funny, exhilirating and romantic play translated into different languages including Filipino (translated...

Spirals

Since we're already at Sofitel Philippine Plaza, let's take a peek at Spiral, the hotel's flagship restaurant. It is one of the most popular buffet restaurants in Metro Manila, with open cooking stations and the widest array of multi-cuisine dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is the lovely spiral staircase that leads from the lobby to the restaurant, and its unusual and very striking spiral sculpture....

Bizarre Cloud Filmed Over Romania

Bizarre. Looking at a distance, the disc cloud, which is outlined by an unusual ring of sunlight, appears to resemble an alien craft. It was like a scene from the mid 90s movie, “Independence Day”. Experts in meteorology explained that the phenomenon that took place in Moscow was just an optical effect by some rare weather conditions, but the latest clip – apparently filmed at the end of last week – has again set news to break all over the place. Business Entity: Corporations

Ok, we tackled about the first two business entities already: Sole Proprietorship and Partnership. Like most of all of you know, the third business entity is Corporation. A third and very different choice of business form is the corporation. Unlike the sole proprietorship and the partnership, the corporation is an entity completely separate from you, the person incorporating it. Your company is now an “Inc,”, an Incorporated and with that designation comes some additional paperwork and compliance...

The Problem with Superstitions.

When you take a bus trip from Negros to Boracay, chances are you’re going to pass the town of Cadiz. I remember when we passed this town from a trip to Boracay, the bus made a scheduled stop from a gas station in Cadiz City so passengers can take a leak since it still too far before we can reach the town of Caticlan. As we stop at the gas station, some vendors approached the bus and started to sell us some food. The bus conductor told us not to buy any food being sold by street vendors. He even...
