Japanese warship collides with South Korean vessel

A Japanese warship collided with a container vessel last night, causing fires on both crafts and injuring three crew members. The JS Kurama hit South Korea’s Carina Star in the narrow Kanmon Strait, some 500 miles southwest of Tokyo. One crew member on the warship was slightly injured, with scratches and bruises, while two others suffered from smoke inhalation. Footage on NHK showed orange flames rising up from the vessels in the dark, which appeared to have suffered significant damage. It is...
