Was Pacquiao-Cotto 24/7 scripted?

I have been watching the acclaimed 24/7 series by HBO since forever and it seems that the latest episode of this excellent series has been "sensationalized" to give it more drama.
I first noticed this "scriptedness" during the Mayweather-Marquez 24/7 series. I thought the part where Mayweather's bloodied sparring partner proudly announced how Mayweather gave him a beating was just plain ridiculous. But then again, with a Mayweather involved, all those non-sense was to be expected. ...
