Android 2.0 ported to T-Mobile G1-”HTC Dream” (video)
Android 2.0 only came out last week and will be available through the Motorola droid, but the open-source community has already manage to port the new Android operating system into the very first Android phone, the T-Mobile G1 aka “HTC Dream“.
Porting the new OS into HTC Dream isn’t the greatest because it was just a direct port and not well optimized. Although there’s optimization problem, it’s still actually runs quite well with a little problem on screen transitions.

Spammer to pay Facebook $711 Million
Facebook was awarded $711 million in damages against spammer Sanford Wallace for his massive junk messages sent to users of the social networking site.
“We won another battle in the fight against spam,” said Facebook, which announced the Oct. 29 ruling on its Web site on Friday.
Wallace, aka the “Spam King,” accessed Facebook members’ accounts without their permission and sent out “phony” Wall posts and messages, the company said.

So my Tuesday was particularly interesting. Gabe Mercado (@gabemercado) called the day previous inviting me to sample a new Magsaysay Group product offering for Tantin, our common friend from PhilMUG.
