Remembering Loved Ones on November 1

Many of us celebrated a night of festive activities for Halloween on October 31—dressed up in elaborate costumes, spooked by ghost stories, or filled up with candy or chocolates. For many of our kababayans in the Philippines, November 1 is the day reserved in honor of saints and of the dead.
