The World Pyro Olympics (WPO) 2009 is a competition of artistry and technical skills by shooting dazzling fireworks synchronized with musical scores.
This year, the competition takes a new venue at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, leaving its three-year-old home SM Mall of Asia Bay Area. With this new venue comes a new experience for viewers, as they witness more creativity and versatility in the use of ground level and special effects instead of firing from the water.
