An off-year election often goes to the party that is not in The White House, so says the data, and so says the many major networks that covered Tuesday’s nationwide U.S. elections. Michael Bloomberg, the mega rich billionaire who financed his own campaign to the tune of $100 million barely came out alive and just beat his Republican opponent by a mere 5%.
