Among Catholic religious communities (eg. SVD or Divine Word Missionaries) the term, Regency, is used for a period of time that a seminarian leaves his studies to work in the apostolic ministry of the community (eg. teach in a school or seminary).These seminarians are called "regents."Incoming Regents...
