COMELEC’S Low Blow on Ang Ladlad

Last Wednesday Commission on Elections rejected a party list’s petition for accreditation on the basis of morality. Ang Ladlad, an organization of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders, first tried applying for accreditation on 2007 and was denied due to insufficient regional membership....

    hi, personally im for the comelecs decision not to incllude ang ladlad in 2010 polls, simply because how could they handle problems of our country, if they can’t deal with the problem of their own gender, i may have a discriminatory tone but the truth is i find it hard to respect a man wearing a woman’s cloth in congress, its true that mr remoto has a lot of accomplishment worthy of respect, but how about the people he is representing? if they want equal respect, then not in this lifetime, that’s my honest opinion
