POEM: why the hell did my heart beat?

these are my heart’s tragedy, my heart’s schemes.

most you’ll read here are broken dreams.

from loving to moving on, here’s why and what.

why the hell did i love her like that.

i broke my heart with a plan i made.

cruel suicide for the pain to fade.

love has given, love has taken.

with fair rules, love was forsaken.

i dare not speak of my regret.

holding on to you as the living threat.

threats of future pain, future disgrace.

all i thought about was their lousy praise.

now here i sat alone and keen.

her brilliance gloom still so soft and serene.

she’s the only flower i wanted to own.

she’s the only prayer i have thrown.

i never ran out of love, people are around.

my heart waiting, my heart’s bound.

shall i take another risk for love?

shall i accept that its something i cant have?

true love’s kiss, true love’s embrace.

all of my efforts fallen from grace.

nobody ever loved me back.

somebody never loved what i lack.

my heart not broken, but shattered.

its the one who onced she flattered.

now into sorrow, searching for light.

into the meadows of darkness and blight.

i saw another which gave me a blush,

i cant explain but my heart cant hush.

shall i use her to repair my heart?

forgetting the past and have a new start?

am i even ready? im cornered in a high wall.

my mind’s refusing to lie and while my heart to fall.

my mind, cant tell whether its true.

my heart, cant tell whether its you.

these are my own tragedy, my own schemes.

most of what you read were wasted dreams.

from moving on to loving more, here’s why and what.

why the hell i cant love her like that.
