Flooding Affects 160,000 in Philippines

WASHINGTON, Jul 31 (OneWorld.net) – Flooding from heavy rains has destroyed homes and damaged farmland on Mindanao Island in the southern Philippines, forcing many to evacuate while others are trapped in their villages by waist-deep water.
