Athletics tops the medal harvest for Philippines in 2009 SEAG

Philippines was just 5th in the overall standings in the recently concluded 2009 Southeast Asian Games in Laos. It gathered 38 gold, 35 silver and 51 bronze medals. It was a close rally for the top spot between Thailand and Vietnam.
Among the different sports, Athletics provided the Philippines...
