Merry Christmas, My Friend was originally a poem, but now it becomes the tune of Mannheim Steamroller's Stille Nacht. "Merry Christmas, My Friend" was specifically tailored for the Marine Corps, written by Marine Lance Corporal James M. Schmidt in 1986. Now the poem is called "A Soldier's Silent Night."...
