Do Travelers Need a Financial Goal?

I can’t remember if I ever setup a financial goal in my life. My goals have always been simple, vague, flat and it’s always about spending such as finish school, get a job, travel, etc. As I was smoking my third cigarette for the day (no, I didn’t break my resolution lol, I’m just in a gradual quitting phase), something hit me in the head (and no, it’s not bird sh*t). A realization that maybe I should do some goal setting or maybe at least try it. (www.flipnomad.com)

It is always better to have a financial goal for you to have something to look forward to. Although sometimes, there will be roadblocks on the way to your goal but keep yourself in focus. When I was 24 years old, I set a goal to have my own home by the time I reach 30. Unfortunately, despite of me trying my best to reach that goal, my daughter got sick and most of my savings went to her hospitalization. Until now we are still renting an apartment but I never stopped reaching my goal.
