Ifugao carver breathes new life to old wood

SISON, PANGASINAN—Ifugao woodcarver Donato Tamingo has found a new use for old fallen trees and driftwood.
The gathering of antique wood in the uplands of this town has become a regular affair for the 62-year-old Tamingo, who creates unique and interesting pieces of furniture from them.
