Basketball Sports Cards
As an avid fan of the NBA, I have been collecting basketball sports cards since 1996.
I don’t want to be redundant regarding how I happened to stumble into this hobby so I suggest you read my blog post titled My NBA Trading Cards Hobby on my old web site.
During that time, the hobby had an explosion here in the Philippines.
I remember trading with hobbyists of all ages: from a 7 year-old kid to a 40-something professional.
However after the shortened NBA season in 1998 due to a lockout, many fans were disgusted with the turn of events. As a result, they left the hobby causing it to die gradually.

Minato is a Korean restaurant along Escriva Drive which is part of this entire lot of Korean establishments – you won’t miss it, the handful of signs in Hangul are a dead giveaway (but in case you need more landmarks, it’s the joint of establishments immediately beside Millenia Tower). My friends and I went to college in UA&P, which is around the area, so we were pretty familiar with the place.
