Much to the relief of private and government employees, Monday, August 30, has been declared a regular holiday by Malacanang to commemorate National Heroes Day. And so, everyone – who doesn’t work on Saturdays and Sundays – is once again looking forward to a long weekend...

The Dimples Romana 3 o’clock diet : only one full meal a day

The Cafe 5845 launch was hosted by local actress Dimples Romana who we found to be articulate and refreshing. Of course we see her in Agua Bendita where she plays the role of Criselda Barrameda. But believe me, she is lovelier in person. Anyway,my fellow bloggers were gushing about how Dimples lost...

Max’s Restaurant launches new fish dishes

I’ve never hidden the fact that Max’s is one of our favorite Filipino family restaurants. Chicken is my kids’ comfort food, and in our book, nothing beats fried chicken cooked the Max’s way. Well, am sure a lot of Pinoys agree with me – regardless of whether they’re...

Grendha shoes and slip-ons to love at Bambu store, Glorietta

We attended the opening of the new Bambu store in Glorietta 4 last week, and we thought having four young girls cut the ceremonial ribbon was such a cute idea.
