Spicy Orange Chicken

Lately, my taste buds have turned to craving for Asian flavors. I seemed to be always looking for spicy yakisoba, shrimp dumplings, sushi, sashimi, veggies in oyster sauce and orange chicken. Even my snacks have that hint of Asian as I stuff myself with siu bao (Steamed Pork Buns) or some siu mai (Shrimp dumplings) that are abundantly sold in kiosks around the place where I work.

Surviving Century Tuna Superbods Run

There was a time about 3 years ago when I could not imagine a life void of physical activity. I loathe couch potatoes and the TV only serves me at night when I watch late night shows while trying to sleep. I was always on the move, had a busy schedule at and outside work. There was no time for sitting still. I was so much into sports and badminton, playing with different groups and even training for competitive games. I thrived in competition and the courts was where I lived, breathed and eventually fell in love.

The Pleasure Place

Note: This post is not for the timid or narrow minded.

It is quite a challenge to be an uninhibited woman in the Philippine society. Lovemaking on a schedule

I am surrounded by friends who are mostly challenged with conceiving children. But not me. We always joke about how extremely fertile I am that just by mere holding hands with my husband, I would likely get pregnant. I truly am fortunate to have a very welcoming uterus that has brought me two wonderful sons that surely trying for another baby will be a cinch.

Mocha Cheesecake

You all know how much I love cheesecake. I made a simple cheesecake, a chocolate cheesecake and now I have successfully whipped up a mocha cheesecake. This was inspired by the most perfect coffee cheesecake that my friends and I had while enjoying coffee and great conversation at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Surprisingly, my cheesecake proved to be the most perfect among all those that I have baked. No cracks, intense taste. So I am sharing with you my tried and tested recipe. Enjoy!
