Got A Thing About The Cullens?
I didn’t think I would get this ‘high’ on vampires and the whole Twilight story. But maybe the story was just good. Well, more than good because I wouldn’t be sacrificing my sleep time just to know what happens. It all happened when I watched the movie. And everything came tumbling after. Just like Jill, tumbling after Jack. I know. It doesn’t make any sense but I don’t care.
Death Of The Freelance Writing Industry
It has been a couple of years already. With the start of the year 2006, I had already started with freelance writing and that has brought me quite some money which has helped me greatly. I am quite happy that I do have some gigs here and there.
My main concern though is just how the freelance writing industry is faring. This was the discussion that my friend has been talking about just a few minutes ago. We’ve been concerned about the very low rates that are offered online.
Disappointing Friendships
When a friend told me that she thinks another friend of ours considers me as one of the few real friends she has, I immediately felt my heart thumping like crazy. The thing is, my heart was beating not because I was really happy but because I always have this notion that I will always disappoint them when they consider me to be that special. I was happy though to know that but the feeling that I will disappoint her was more overpowering.
Married?
We’ve been talking about marriage and getting married. That’ll be me and a few friends. And we were all agreeing to the point that getting married may not be a big deal for some but it is. You do get married only once in your lifetime and it would not be a piece of cake.
Supertyphoon Mina And Us Saying “We’re Ready For Battle”
Riding in a jeepney on the way to the office a couple of days ago, I was absolutely hating the fact that I had to work drenched. Again. See, typhoon Lando had just stopped by and decided to give us more than our usual bit of rain. Now while on the jeepney, I learnt that another typhoon was making its way to our province. And so I was thinking, “Gotta have more pants ready or I might be running out of dry ones to wear with the storms coming to visit us this quick.” Little did I know that Mina was going to be something more than just rain.
New Sweeney Todd Trailer!
So before I start working, let me share with you the newest Sweeney Todd trailer I’ve discovered just a couple of minutes ago. I am terribly excited and I have only watched the trailer once today. But mind you, I’ll be watching it again and again later. Maybe even after I do this post. I’m not selfish and I’d like to share with you my Johnny Depp’s newest Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street trailer. You may have to prepare yourselves though for this one is quite a bit bloody towards the end.

While listening to Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack MP3s, I’ve come across via YouTube the trailer of Johnny Depp’s newest movie, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. And just imagine how my heart was racing again. I just can’t get enough of this guy. Fine. You already know that. After all, as early as a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been saying tons of things about the new movie – from Johnny Depp photos as Sweeney Todd, who Sweeney Todd is, and the release of the movie poster.
Anyhow, here I am enjoying the trailer again and again and trying to find the Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd. After all, when he’s in character, he becomes the character. Oh I wouldn’t want to rant more on that.

Finding Purpose
Maybe having a son has been God’s way of giving me my purpose in life. I mean, I have been thinking and reminiscing.
When I was a fresh graduate, I never did have any dreams. I mean, yes, I wanted a good job. But what job? I did not actually know where I wanted to work. Although I wanted to be part of an advertising company, I thought I was not good enough so I did not venture into that field.
It’s Been A Year Ivan…
It has been a year Ivan. I suppose you’re pretty happy now wherever you are. I know that you and Rambo are together and I know that you’ll most probably be smiling down on us and sometimes are with us from time to time.
Last year, I remember, I was here at the office and we were having a seminar of some sort. I have been receiving text messages from our co-CYFers and they were asking me to pray for your family whom you’ve left behind. Of course, I did not believe those messages. I even called up Leonel and we were joking that you were yet up to another round of your crazy antics.
But we all guessed wrong. I only confirmed your passing away when I texted Ian who even had used Kiko’s celphone just to inform me that what they all were saying were true. I just could not believe it.
