Disappointing Elections for First Timers
We were up very early this morning for the elections. We thought that people will cram the precincts later so it’s better to be there early. Also, this marks the day of change. And after all this is not a queue for free ipods but a national event.
When we reach the voting area, there were lots of eager voters spread all over the place. Drenched in their own perspiration, people looked confused, impatient, angry, disappointed; all a picture of an apparently chaotic procedure. AGAIN? Yes, again.

American Idol Bets
With tonight’s performances of the girls, I am in favor of Siobhan Magnus. Her voice was a croon. She has magnetic presence, too. Her confidence did not overwhelm her performance but contributed to its excellence.

There was news on television the past few days about a woman who went to Tondo to attend the fiesta celebration with her boyfriend and friends and ended up in the police station wailing and in shock. She was raped by many and had to jump from the second floor of the house to flee or to escape the transgressors. She was seen without her pants and panty on waving to a barangay service vehicle. She was limping, probably getting a fracture from the jump.
Where was the boyfriend? He was nowhere in that news report. Maybe one of the perpetrators? We really do not know. But it is very sure that she was not taken good care by her supposed to be valiant knight ready to protect her any time.

To Graduate, or Not to Graduate
Like most people on this planet earth, where each has to be ready with a reserve of emotional strength and support, parents should have something like an online backup to be able to deal with the difficulties they are designated to encounter. How would a parent confront the possibility that his or her child will not graduate, for example?
Parents always wish to accomplish the task entitled to them of sending off their children to school. By accomplishing means, the children will graduate or finish school one day. There is more to the feeling that a parent encounters when a child completed school. As the child was able to finish school, a parent feels proud that he or she was able to provide for the schooling so that the child (or children) will be cultured, learned, and educated.
