Emo: Maskman
Of course, I remember being a child. And those childhood memories includes some favorite TV shows that I have watch. One of which is Mask Man.
I was browsing YouTube for some funny videos to add a part 3 of my Amazing Videos collection (1) (2), when I accidentally bump upon this Mask Man’s opening and ending videos. Incidentally, there are rumors that ABS-CBN will revive/remake these famed super sentai.
Charles’ Reviews: Harry Potter 5
One of the most awaited movie this year has finally been released in the Philippines.
The 5th installment of Harry Potter’s Saga, comes to a near climax when Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermoine, finally meet their arch enemy, Lord Voldemort.
The movie is based from J.K. Rowling’s best seller novel, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I would say, this is one of the best Harry Potter movie — visually effective, and the sounds are great.
But, as with the other movie versions of the first four books, there are many parts that was edited, replaced or minimize. Here are some of the points that was edited:
1. The twin Weasley’s escape from school
2. The different levels at the Department of Mysteries
3. The battle of Dumbledore and Voldemort at the Ministry of Magic
4. The scene of Dumbledore escaping from Crouch in the Headmaster’s office
LSS: ‘Time In’ by Yeng ft. Cebalo

Charles’ Reviews: The Simpsons Movie
Ok. I think, I have already build up the fact that I am a Cinemaniac, I can watch 5 movies straight in a day. But I haven’t stated the fact that I am a Simpsons fan too. So, that’s it.
I have really worked out my schedule for me to watch this movie. Since the trailer was shown, I have made up my mind that I will definitely see this movie – - and I have, with some of my good students.
Anyway, in a question of ethics, I don’t care. I have forgotten my stature as their teacher while watching this movie, since I have laughed out (very very) loud. Nagulat nga sila eh.. Hehehe.. But they haven’t seen the best (and worst) laugh from me.
Anyway, the much anticipated Simpsons Movie brought surprises and disappointments with some viewers. After 400 episodes, you think that there won’t be enough storyline that can cover a full-length movie. In the course of this 125-minute movie, you would definitely feel the difference between an ordinary episode from this one.
From the introduction – the lost of the usual couch scene, and the psychology of the chalkboard joke, and the Green Day concert – to the unfolding of the plot, and the big D’ohs of Homer, and Bart’s frontal nudity, the momentum isn’t sustained. There are some points where you would really laugh out loud, and some points to get (small) yawns.
The plot, although, is time. Its about the environment. The topic that would really excite Lisa Simpson, and would definitely bore Homer and Bart. Some elements in this movie, you can see it in the regular Simpson episode.
Overall, the movie is good. This one, you can say, is an ordinary Simpson episode, stretched enough to make a 125-minute event. That it’s a movie that didn’t have to be made and that movies of TV shows rarely turn out great anyway. Lastly, since Homer (speaking to the audience) laid it all down nicely for everyone at the opening scene, no one has the right to bitch about anything.
The New 7 Wonders of the World
Lisbon, Portugal, July 7, 2007 – The world saw the results of the global election that elevated the status of 7 man-made monumental sites as the New Seven Wonders of the World.
From the Seven Ancient Wonders List made by Herodotus and Callimachus of Greek, the election was based from internet votes and telephone/cellphone votes of candidates for the New 7 Wonders. The list of 177 nominees, the candidates was narrowed to 21 sites, including the Great Pyramid of Giza, and later the Pyramids was proclaimed as an honorary delegate, for its status being the only remnant of the Ancient Wonders.

Poverty (Part 3): Corruption of the Young
In my quest to define poverty, this is the third, and hopefully the last, installment of my Poverty series (Part 1, Part 2).I was going home from my enrollment today, when 4 boys about the age of 10-11, jumped to the jeepney from nowhere. I noticed that they were selling peanuts, wearing dirty old rugged clothes and no footwears of any kind.Â
They were talking about something they stole, a cigarette lighter, and then suddenly, shifted, teasing, about their “manoysâ€. Okay, okay, reproductive organ, their penises.
“si jose, sa sobrang liit ng titi, daliri na niya yung jinajakol niya†“kinakantot nga niya yung pusa nila†“parang kasing liit ng titi ng baby yung titi ni RJâ€
Yeah, they seem very offensive to be posted, but I wanted to give an insight to this behavior. As a teacher, I am crushed with this personality behavior. Clearly, from their physical look and actions, they are poor. Social status, here, plays an important factor in developing the young.
Tourism in Baguio
Continuation from this last post.
Of course, aside from our spiritual retreat in Baguio City, we traveled and visited the usual Baguio tourism and sceneries. We visited Mine’s View, Baguio Botanical Garden, The Mansion, Wagwagan, Pink Sisters Convent
One thing that my friends don’t know about me is that I am a Dog Lover. I don’t exactly have a dog in the house, but I fancy them really. I like all kinds, shapes and sizes of dog, of course, not those dogs with galis, e.g. Askals (Asong-Kalye).
Last time, I posted that we went to Baguio. We specifically visited Mine’s View.

Updates (June 2007)
I have updated my blog:Â
1. Changed the name of this blog, from charleslemark to a more fuller and lenient How to Blog an Exploding Man?
2. Also, I have updated my blogheader to include the new blog name.
3. Updated and revised the Profile / About Me to interest readers to read and know more about me.
4. Started my Photo Blog section in this blog. Photos posted in this section will be taken by myself, so they are all originals, but taken by an amateur and frustrated photographer.
5. I will open other blogs soon. One of them is Sir Charles, a blog that will provide supplementary material and readings for my students (inspired by AkoMismo by Sir Martin Perez). Others will be announced later.
6. One mission of the Basic Education Curriculum is to promote the virtue of Nationalism and Patriotism, therefore, I have adopted the Pinoy Yata Ako badges. I have also invited my readers in my previous post that these badges are downloadable for free.
Again, thanks for religiously following my blog.
Do I need to celebrate Father’s Day?
I’ll just make this post as short as possible, so don’t haste reading this.
Sunday was Father’s Day, and I totally ignore that day, since my father is not so-important to me now after we discovered that he has another family, and that he ever regretted marrying my mother.
So, do i really need?
