The Dynamic Filipino

It is nice to be born of a Filipino Race, because a Filipino citizen never quit, he is brought up with a heart of courage and a heart of kindness and is never pessimistic but rather optimistic.

A Filipino family loves to see his childrens growing wih faith and fear of the Lord, he always sees to it the welfare of his family. he never let them down, he always think of their future.

A Filipino always practice the spirit of ” Bayanihan.” as can be seen in times of Calamities and disasters, either the incident happens here or abroad. they are never hostile to others but they are very hospitable even to the foreigners.

A Filipino is a nature lover, he loves the mother nature, he never cut the trees but rather takes care of it, he never throw garbage on the seas and other bodies of water, he loves the mother nature as he loves himself.

This descriptions makes a true and good Filipino, but as time goes by, the true Filipino has become dynamic, the Filipinos nowadays are pessimistic and sees no hope in everything, we only entrust our fate to God, and to other lucky charm things. the Filipinos are now taking for granted their Families, the parents are not taking good care of their children as the traditional filipino does before. childrens are on the streets making money for their parents instead of going to school and learn or play.

The spirit of ” Bayanihan” has been gone, it was not practiced as it is done before in the barrios or even in the city. some are now hostile even to our fellow race, we see each other as a competitor or as an enemy and not as our brother or sisters. the new Filipino practice more the “crab mentality” which is not a good attitude and we also practice the “collonial mentality” which is not good with our economy.

and lastly, our being with the environment is not like before. today we cut trees for nothing, we kill the animals for nothing, some kill the animals and treees for profit sake. houses are beung buiilt in the former forests, the sea is being recleaimed and converted into cities. is this what modernization and evolution has taken us? I wish that changes may takes place but the traditional Filipino will not evolve into an insensitive and inhuman race.
