Baywatch Hunk may be in Knight Rider sequel
Do you know that the Baywatch hunk Michael Hasselhoff is in talks with NBC to reprise his role as Michael Knight. Yes Knight Rider will most likely be in the air soon, the show that propelled Hoff’s career before saving beautiful bodies from drowning in Baywatch.

Two Ateneans (ADNU) Make it to the National Finals of the 2007 TOSP
In the tradition of Ateneo de Naga University Excellence, Ms. Julie Lucille H. Del Valle (BSED 2007) and Mr. Ben B. Secretario (BSBA 2007) were chosen as National Finalists in the 2007 Search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP). Since 1961, the TOSP program has annually selected and honored ten college students who serve as role models by excelling academically, leading by example, and actively participating in community work.
Ms. Del Valle and Mr. Secretario were chosen from 108 national nominees throughout the country. They will join 28 other students from different schools and regions for the TOSP week in Metro Manila from June 29 to July 6, 2007. During this period, all finalists will be interviewed by the National Board of Judges to select the 2007 TOSP. The award ceremony will be held on July 5, 2007 at the Ceremonial Hall, Malacañang Palace. Her Excellency, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will present the awards. (source: http://www.adnu.edu.ph)
Baby Come Back!
One helluva ride! Haven’t seen any movie like it. What am I talking about? TRANSFORMERS.
The scene I really liked most is when the main character Sam (played by Shia LaBeouf, yes he’s a HE and no he’s not an AutoBot) had the opportunity to talk to her crush and possibly drive (in Bumblebee) her home. He can’t find the words to say so our naughty Autobot Bumblebee played the song “Who’s gonna drive you home”. The girl decided to go with him and on their way Bumblebee brought them to a very romantic spot in their area, a cliff overlooking the burbs, then the engine stopped (sinadya syempre). So the girl went out of the car and started to walk by herself when the engine came into life (naughty talaga si Bumblebee) and played the song “Baby Come Back”.
Imagine how the moviegoers reacted, or better watch it!

If you can find time, please do watch the latest documentary of Michael Moore titled SiCKO. Some of you watched his 911 Fahrenheit and somehow felt that Moore has a political agenda against the republicans, but this time it’s not polarizing. Healthcare issues transcends political parties. If you don’t have health insurance in the US, you’re a dead man walking. Even 911 heroes find it hard to avail of the health services the US government should provide. Some 911 volunteers, who suffered from respiratory diseases after the incident, were denied because they are not on the governments payroll. A $120 inhaler in US costs only 5 cents in Cuba. That is very insulting for a 911 female volunteer who lost her fortune buying these costly medicine only to find out that it is sold in Cuba at a very low price. The movie depicted how better socialized healthcare is as shown by Moore’s travel to France, UK, Canada and Cuba. We were lead to believe that US takes care of its people more than those countries mentioned.
