Few years ago, I was surprised to see the advertisement being shown on ABC 5 with the tagline, “Hindi lang Star… Hindi lang Superstar,” “Hinahanap na ang bagong Idol ng Bayan” and many others. The advertisement was about Philippine Idol, the local version of American Idol. I was really excited that finally we got our own version of the Idol series. I could still remember creating a website dedicated to Philippine Idol. There were also times that I provided a live stream of Philippine Idol since people who are outside the country can’t see the show or to those in places where ABC 5’s signal is low or non-existent. I must admit that I bought our TV Tuner mainly for Philippine Idol.

We were treated to the classiest restaurants around the Metro, which we can’t afford on our own.

Love Begins… with One Hello
Watching the television, I was surprised to chance upon a movie trailer with the tagline, “Does passion ends… when commitment begins?” And I was surprised again when I knew that Aga Muhlach and Anne Curtis are the main stars of the said film. The movie is entitled, “When Love Begins” and would be premiering on April 30, 2008 in over 100 cinemas nationwide …

Pinoy Dream Academy Season II
I’m really a fan of Pinoy Dream Academy to the point that I bought jackets, notebooks and even pin buttons. I’m a Rosita Bareng fan actually. Oh, please don’t laugh at me like that. She many not be the best singer in town but she never fail to catch the “masa” audience of the show. I like the Pinoy Dream Academy’s format wherein scholars are asked to live inside an “academy” where will they undergo rigid training. Moreover, since they live inside an academy equipped with many cameras and microphones you get to know the attitudes of the contestants and how they interact with each other …
