(J)Rockband Fun + Anime/Manga Post
Floyd found some custom J-rock songs for the game rockband. (Actually it’s for Frets on Fire but can be used in Rockband too and Guitar Hero) Isn’t that cool?
There are some anime songs from Naruto, Bleach and FMA. And J-rock like L’Arc~en~Ciel, FLOW, The Pillows and even YUI~
But the songs are either for expert or hard and have no lyrics for the vocals. Floyd is currently checking/editing YUI’s “Again” (FMAB first OP) so I can play it on easy guitar mode.
I’m actually kinda lazy to blog so here’s some quick comments on some Anime and Manga I follow:
- Fullmetal Alchemist chapter 106 - EPIC. Goodbye Pride? It’s so near the end. It will hurt to see this series go. I’ve been reading this for three years if I’m not mistaken.
- Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood – The new OP song is…

Realization
Yesterday, we (together with my mom and Floyd again) went to Las Piñas Lying in Center. I’m not really sure why of all places but I think we need a referral letter from one of the doctors there in order for us to use my mom’s green card. Well, a green card is somewhat similar to philhealth/medicare, which can give us up to PHP25,000 (I think). It’ll be a great help definitely.
We arrived there around 8 in the morning and it opened up around 9:30. Honestly, I was really irritated from the start since I know Lying Ins are for pregnant women – I’m not even pregnant and what worse is that I’m sick. Plus, I thought that they will check me up again but it turned out that all we really need is their signatures! :b-boiling:
When we entered the doctors area and when my mom told them what we need, the doctors and the staff got a little confused (I’m not really sure what happened!) and somewhat the transaction (or what ever you call it) got messed up. Since I was kind of irritated from the beginning I threw out a tantrum (I don’t really know why I did that) and then a woman doctor suprisingly said to me in such a negative/sarcastic tone (in front of everyone): Hija, pipirmahan naman namin yan kaya wag ka nang sumimangot. Kahapon ka pa nakasimangot! (Hey! We will sign that so stop frowning! You have that kind of face since yesterday.) (@_@) Of course, I quiet down, I was shocked! Read the rest of this entry here »
Emotional Yesterday
Yesterday was a very emotional day for me. It was all because of my period that I’m having for over a month. My mother and Floyd (boyfriend) have been bugging me about this so I eventually gave in to them and agreed to go see a doctor for a checkup. Before, I was hesitant (actually I didn’t really want to) because everyone here was telling me I might undergo a Transvaginal Ultrasound! Of course, I don’t want that. Imagine, that thing going inside of me (either way)?! Noo way! It might be just a simple thing to some of you but for me, it’s a big deal and might bring me all sorts of problems.
So to continue the story, like I said, I agreed but half-meant agreed. We (Me, my mother and Floyd) were all set and ready to leave the house yesterday morning when I acted out and told them that I don’t want to go. Floyd got mad at me and my mother walked out of the house – in other words, we had a fight. Floyd was extremely mad at me to the point that he hit me. He said they were all doing this for me and yet, I acted like a kid. Of course, that made me realized some things and calmed down.
J-Drama: Bambino Review
Bambino is a Japanese Drama adaptation of a manga by Sekiya Tetsuji. It tells the story of Ban Shogo (Matsumoto Jun), a college student who dreams of becoming a professional chef in Italian cuisine. The story starts with Ban leaving (as suggested by his mentor) his hometown Hakata, Fukuoka for Tokyo to master his cooking skills. It turns out that the restaurant his mentor assigned him to is Trattoria Baccanale, an ellegant and professional Italian restaurant. Shock, he discovers that he has much to learn and so needs to study more and improve himself in order for him to reach his dreams.
My Comments
I know when it comes to asian dramas, you’ll probably think of those cheesey love stories or those romantic-comedy types. Bambino is different. Read the rest of this entry »
On Work and Procrastination
The good thing about this kind of job I have is that I work for myself and I have all the time to do all the work and promotion of my products. It’s good because (1) I really don’t like being bossed around. (I think I am born to be the leader, not the follower. Heh, but I can follow, of course, if I want to and have to.) (2) I’m a total home buddy that I don’t like leaving the house that much. (3) I can’t leave my computer for some reasons. (4) I feel like working in an office, in whatever workplace, or even just as a home-based worker, is like being imprisoned or something.
With all these reasons, some of you may think that I don’t like pressure, responsibility, compromising etc. Well, that’s sort of true. For me, that’s so troublesome that I just want to leave things behind and just doodle on the fun things I do. Yeah, you can call me a quitter, coward and other names if you want. This is me and I know what I’m doing. Read the rest of this entry »
United We Stand, Divided We Fall
Orginal entry post : Click here!
