Love Story – Valentines Special
I was 10 and 2 years old, when I first felt this indescribable feeling, she was the only sweet, cute and intelligent girl I knew. We both went to the same school, and of course I always wait for her during class dismissal. We enjoyed our life as simply as we can be. She lived in an exclusive village while I had my home beside their place, a squatter area so to speak. But even though they had all the richness I think of, her parents are so caring and lovable towards me. I just wonder, is it because they don’t have a baby boy in the family? Well, I just don’t know.
We only have a week to go before graduation day. But, I am still speechless in regards with my feeling to the girl whom I believed I fell with, a puppy love? Maybe. One afternoon, after our commencement practice, she proudly delivered the news to me,
“BF, I will be going to a private school for my high school. How about you?â€

Mahal kong Pilipinong WIKA,
A-BA-KA-DA ang una kong nabasa at naintindihan nong nasa grade school pa ako, don kita nakilala at naging A-B-C-D-E ng magturo sa akin ang teacher ko, don ko rin nakita si ENGLISH. Pagdating sa amin, “Mama, maayong hapon” – isang paggalang sa matatanda, nakilahok rin si BISAYA. nang naghighschool ako, lagi si ENGLISH ang kasama ko, ” Hello! Hi! How are you? I’m Mark and may i know your name?” pero ni minsan di ko nakalimutan ang amigo kung BISAYA. Ngayong, katatapos ko lang magkolehiyo at may trabaho na, marami narin akong natutunan at nakilala na mga WIKA. Nakichat narin sa akin si FRENCH, nagemail narin sa akin si SPANISH at nakipagusap narin sa akin si JAPANESE, marami pala kayong mga pamilyang WIKA no? At gusto kong malaman mo na dahil sa iyo eh, natanggap ako sa work ko ngayon bilang IT Technical Support. Sorry nga pala kasi minsan pag night shift ako eh puro si ENGLISH yong pinaglalabas ng bunganga ko. Pero ikaw lagi ang nasa puso at isipan ko.
At higit sa lahat pala, nagpapasalamat ako kung di dahil sa iyo at sa ibang kapatid mong WIKA na nameet ko eh di ako aasenso at maging matagumpay at matatag sa buhay. At dahil sa inyo, lalong aasenso ang bayan dahil sa pagasenso ng mga tao dito.
Salamat sa inyo lahat! lalo kana Pilipinong WIKA!
