Write Your Own Income
I have a question for you guys. What if you can supplement your current income by writing?Now before your react and protest that you can’t write and that you are not an expert or knowledgeable enough about anything enough to write about them, Listen to me first.
Anyone reading this blog can write. If you are able to understand my writing then you definitely can write. Believe me, I know. I have been told by a Blog Evaluation Software Program that my writing level is at the grade school reading level. So that means you guys who read my blog, I am absolutely sure, are 100% better that a hack like me in writing.
So what do you write about? Anything you like! Its actually quite easy to find out. Think of a topic or interest or hobby that you like. You are most likely knowledgeable about that topic/interest/hobby than 80% to 90% of world’s population. I’m talking about something that you really like so much that when somebody says something negative about it or makes fun of it, it gets your all riled up and frothing in the mouth to defend it (topic/interest/hobby).

Few people get the opportunity to experience a moment of clarity but when they do its usually a life-changing experience for them. I think I had mine in late 2008.This was after I closed down my second brick and mortar business. The entrepreneurial life was exactly as advertised – exciting, challenging, and frustrating all at the same time.
My wife and I had just put in a year’s worth of backbreaking work with our business in which we endured long hours of dealing with demanding clients and stubborn employees. Bootstrapping a business is never easy. I’ve had it with employees, I said to my wife. The next business we start I want it to be with as little or with no employees at all.
For my next business venture I wanted something different. I told myself. I want a source of income that will not raise my blood pressure beyond what the BP monitor can measure. I wanted to have a business with no employees, that will operate on its own, while I am out playing my favorite sport. I would prefer it if I get to play everyday. I jokingly told my wife. With a skeptical look on her face she replied – What kind of business is that? Does it even exist?

What can you buy for P1,500 today? I googled this question and the top 3 results were - a Columbia jacket posted at Sulit.com.ph, a guitar amplifier at the same website, a Cignal Satellite TV kit, and a Sewing Genie.
My cousin who is a Havaianas fanatic will probably buy 2 pairs of the super expensive slippers with the money. It will probably buy you 2 pairs of a good quality but affordable brand of jeans in SM Megamall, and a decent meal for 2 at any of the nice restaurants at Greenbelt.
But what about starting a business? Can you start a business with only P1,500 ? Can you actually make it work?
